The Jedi costume has to be finished this Saturday (AAAAH!).
The SpriteStitch Mega Swap has to be shipped by October 31st, which, really, means it should be finished this weekend as well so I can ship it on time. Right.
Both the Happypotamus and the Elsa dress should be finished no later than November 19th.
The Star Wars blanket should be finished by December 18th. As I don’t plan to make any gifts for the holidays this year, I should have enough time after November 19th to do this.
These deadlines are creeping up on me in part (though only in part, we all know I am just NOT good at planning, that’s why I have those many WIPs) because about a month ago I started volunteer work one evening a week and a weekly course for work on the next night. This means I have to spend one night a week cooking ahead for both lunch and dinner for 3-4 nights. I enjoy both the volunteering and the course, but I have also lost three evenings of crafting a week. This is not helping progress. By November 19th, fortunately, the course will be over; and by December 18th, so is the volunteering. Expect some mad crafting over the holidays!
My ultimate goal is to finish the year with only 6 WIPs, so that I could maybe possibly actually start a new project with a clear conscience in 2016! For that, I would have to finish 3 projects in addition to the ones mentioned above. I am aiming for the chair seat cover, knitted jacket and… ehm… The closet doors? Eddy gloves? Okay so it’s going to be a bit of a puzzle, but when isn’t it?
